I help children who are struggling to find their feet, whether that is with focus, learning, coordination, regulation, or simply feeling at ease in the world. My approach is gentle, evidence-based, and always tailored to your child.
Hi, I'm Rebecca
I'm a Neurodevelopmental Therapist with a particular focus on reflex integration therapy, and over two decades of experience working with children. My background is in education, where I spent years working as a teacher and advisor across mainstream classrooms, special schools, and hospital settings. Throughout that time, my work was always centred on one thing: helping children access their world with greater ease and confidence.
What I know now that I didn't always understand then is that many of the challenges children face, whether with learning, attention, coordination, emotional regulation, or sensory sensitivity, can be rooted in retained primitive reflexes and difficulties with sensory integration. When we address those foundations, everything else can begin to shift.
My path into neuro-developmental therapy began with my own family. Watching one of my own children find real, lasting support through this approach was a turning point. It showed me what was possible, and it was that experience that compelled me to train so I could offer the same to other families.
Today, as an INPP Licentiate, Level 2 Tomatis Practitioner, and Level 1 Ronnie Gardiner Method practitioner, I work with children and families to gently address the neurological foundations that underpin so much of how we learn, feel, and connect with the world. I combine all of that with my background as a qualified teacher, which means I understand the real, everyday impact these challenges have in the classroom and at home.
Through Think Thrive, I am committed to offering support that is tailored, drug-free, and non-invasive, and always delivered with warmth. My goal is simply to give every child the foundations they need to truly flourish.

My approach
Child-led and gentle
Every session moves at the pace your child is comfortable with. There is no pressure, no rushing, and no one-size-fits-all programme. Everything is built around your child.
Evidence-based
The methods I use are grounded in decades of scientific research. The INPP approach has over 45 years of evidence behind it, and the Tomatis Method has been developed over more than 70 years.
Rooted in education
With over 20 years in schools, I understand what children face day to day. I bring that classroom perspective to every family I work with, so support extends beyond the therapy room.
Drug-free and non-invasive
All the approaches I use are completely drug-free and non-invasive. They rely on movement, sound, and the brain's natural capacity for change.
Whole family support
I work closely with parents and carers throughout the process. You will always know what we are doing and why, and home exercises are explained clearly so you feel confident supporting your child.
Genuinely warm
I know how much it matters to feel heard. Families come to me because something is not quite right, and I never lose sight of how much courage that takes. You are in the right place.
Let's talk about your child
Your first call is free and there is no obligation. We will have a relaxed conversation about your child's needs and I will answer any questions you have.
