I am a wife, a business owner, and a mum. I am an advocate for health and wellbeing with a genuine passion for helping children and families to be the best version of themselves.

About Helen

Hi, I'm Helen

With over 20 years of experience in education, I have spent my career as a primary PE specialist and served as a national tutor and assessor in sport education. I have always been driven by one thing: helping children move confidently through their world and access everything life has to offer them.

In recent years, I have combined that background with specialist training as a Tomatis Sound Therapy Practitioner and Physical Literacy Consultant, working with both schools and families to support children who are struggling. Together, these roles allow me to address the neurological and physical foundations that underpin so much of how children learn, feel, and connect.

Why am I so passionate about this work?

Over the years, I have witnessed a significant and worrying decline in children's physical skills, alongside a national rise in diverse needs and barriers to learning. I have seen families fighting to be heard, and children not getting the support they deserve.

My passion became deeply personal when my own family faced similar challenges. After years of research, persistence, and eventually finding the right support, we experienced first-hand the difference it can make. Watching the change in our children was everything, and it made me determined to help other families find their way through sooner.

Working in schools throughout that journey, I could see countless other children and families experiencing the same struggles. I knew I had to do something. I wanted to save families the heartache of those long, exhausting searches for answers, and to offer practical, accessible support that makes a real difference.

That is why Think Thrive was created, alongside co-founder Rebecca Gough. Two like-minded people who had faced similar challenges, equally passionate about bringing much-needed change and giving families somewhere to turn.
