Helen Moralee

I’m a wife, a business owner and Mum to two incredible girls who remind me daily what life is all about.  I’m an advocate for health and well-being with a passion for helping others to be their best version.

With over 20 years’ experience in education, I’ve served schools as a primary PE specialist alongside my role as a national tutor and assessor in sport education.  In recent years, I’ve concentrated on assisting schools and families in my combined roles as a physical literacy consultant, INPP practitioner and TOMATIS sound therapist to enable more children to THRIVE.

Why am I so passionate about what I do?

Over the years, I’ve witnessed a significant decline in children’s physical skills and observed a national trend in the rise of diverse needs and barriers to learning, particularly in the aftermath of covid.  Having faced various struggles as a family, I fought for years to understand the needs of my own child and despite raising concerns, we failed to gain any support.

I battled for years with the emotional turmoil of not being able to help my own family.  After years of research and finally accessing the right information and resources, I’ve since been able to overcome these difficulties and now, weget to enjoy seeing both our girls THRIVE.

Throughout this journey though, whilst working in schools, I could relate to countless numbers of children and families who were experiencing similar difficulties who were not receiving the support they deserve.  I just had to do something to help.

I wanted to save families the heartache of experiencing similar struggles and eliminate unnecessary difficulties.  How?  By presenting years of research around complex issues via accessible, digestible resources with easy to implement, practical solutions and on-going support.  And that is why THRIVE was created, with co-founder Rebecca Gough.  Another like-minded mum who had faced similar challenges and was equally as passionate about bringing much needed change in a failing system.
