Testimonials
Hearing from other families is often the most reassuring part of deciding whether neurodevelopmental therapy is right for your child. Below are stories, in writing and on film, from families who have worked with Think Thrive through an INPP programme, a Tomatis programme, or a combination of both.
Working with Rebecca
The screening process was so informative. It gave us a clear, professional understanding of our child’s needs. We finally feel like we have a real pathway to help them flourish.
Rebecca is truly brilliant at what she does and really cares about the children she helps. She is attentive, caring and extremely thorough. A highly intelligent, professional, credible, lovely lady.
Absolutely incredible progress already. Rebecca engages with my son in a fun and yet professional manner, so much so he actually enjoys going to his sessions. We can now manage outings with ease.
Working with Rebecca has completely changed my daughter’s day to day life experience. She can now go for sleepovers and is so much more confident.
The INPP Programme
In their own words: two families share what changed after working through an INPP programme with Rebecca.
Rebecca did an amazing job helping identify which primitive reflexes my son needed support with. She was so knowledgeable and made the whole experience fun for him, something I rarely see, as he is usually withdrawn and anxious.
We have seen a genuine transformation in well-being and focus. Addressing retained reflexes was the missing piece in our child’s development and academic journey.
My son had a pronounced Moro reflex which caused him to startle easily and be quite anxious. Rebecca identified this straight away and gave us some simple exercises that really helped. He is less anxious and now a calmer child as a result.
The Tomatis Programme
Before we started Tomatis, our son struggled enormously with noise. Busy classrooms, supermarkets, even the sound of the hoover would send him into complete meltdown. A friend mentioned Think Thrive and honestly I looked into it with a healthy dose of scepticism.
By the end of the first block of listening we noticed he was sleeping more deeply, which hadn’t really happened since he was a baby. By the time we finished the programme he was managing school assemblies without getting upset, for the first time. He still finds loud environments tiring, but the panic has gone. He describes it himself as “the world being quieter.”
Rebecca explained what was happening at every stage, which meant we felt informed rather than just hopeful. I’d say to any parent who’s been told their child is “just oversensitive”: this is worth exploring.
INPP and Tomatis Together
Our daughter was seven when we came to see Rebecca. She’d had speech and language support at school but her teachers felt she was still missing a lot of what was said to her in class. It wasn’t her hearing, which we’d had tested more than once, but something in the way she processed it. She was also finding reading very hard work and we could see her confidence was beginning to wobble.
We did two blocks of Tomatis followed by an INPP programme, and the combination felt really complementary. The shift in her reading has been the most obvious thing. She’s now reading for fun, which is something I really didn’t think would happen this quickly. Her class teacher commented at parents’ evening how she’s suddenly coming on in leaps and bounds and seems happier answering questions and giving things a go.
What I appreciated most was that Rebecca took the time to really understand our daughter before we started, and kept us in the loop throughout. It didn’t feel like a generic programme, it felt tailored, and we can’t wait to continue to see the progress she’s going to make with the INPP work.
